摘要: A fiber-laser-based implementation of a Gigahertz source through difference frequency generation (DFG) by nonlinear optical (NLO) materials is compact, tunable and scalable. pair pulsed fiber lasers, preferably single-frequency, generate output pulses at frequencies ω 1 2 that overlap temporally. beam combiner combines the laser outputs routes combined to GHz generator head where interaction process in NLO material generates radiation.
