摘要: The influence of a biological response modifier (FK-565) on weanling pig performance was evaluated. One hundred twenty-five pigs (weaned at 21 +/- 3 d) averaging 6.3 kg were utilized in 35-d growth trial. Dietary treatments included basal diet (1.25% lysine, corn-soybean meal-dried whey), the plus .1, 1 or 10 ppm FK-565 and control an antibacterial combination containing chlortetracycline, sulfamethazine penicillin. Performance recorded weekly, d 35 all bled for whole blood serum chemistry profiles then euthanatized. Heart, liver, kidneys spleen weights recorded. Also, gross histological examinations made these organs, as well sections lung, ileum, bone marrow, thymus mesenteric lymph node. By 14, fed gained faster (P less than .06) diets. However, no differences .10) feed intake 14 efficiency utilization either observed. For overall trial, ADG greater .01) consuming Pigs consumed more other diets .05).(ABSTRACT TRUNCATED AT 250 WORDS)
