摘要: Rab proteins are small molecular weight GTPases that control vesicular traffic in eukaryotic cells. A subset of proteins, the Rab3 thought to play an important role regulated exocytosis vesicles. During large-scale sequencing analysis a human fetal brain cDNA library, we isolated clone encoding novel protein, which showed 99% identity with previously bovine Rab3C at amino acid level. It contained four conserved motifs characteristic family. RT-PCR indicated was expressed brain, placenta, and lung. By mapping, localized gene chromosome 5q13. The consisted 6 exons spanning more than 310 kb genomic DNA. Rab3A, Rab3B, Rab3D have been mapped three different chromosomes, suggesting they not transcripts same gene.
