摘要: Abstract We have measured the reactions 14C(p, d), (d, d′) and p) for Ep = 27 MeV 17 MeV. The were studied between θlab 15° 85°; (p, d) reaction 5° 40°. 14C deformation parameters deduced from deuteron inelastic scattering found to agree with deformations in nearby doubly even nuclei. spectroscopic factors allowed a ground-state wave function be which compares faborably theoretically function. are consistent. implications of our regarding problem hindered beta decay discussed.
