Participatory Cultural Production and the DIY Internet: From Theory to Practice and Back Again

摘要: The free and open source software movements have inspired a new mode of participatory cultural production. early hacker communities elaborated sophisticated socio-technical system network-enabled collaboration culminating in the GNU-Linux operating system. More recently, range do-it-yourself (DIY) media technologies given any user with internet access ability to become producer variety social fields.
