摘要: Abstract We have investigated the electronic and magnetic properties of Co thin films epitaxially grown on Au(111) substrate by spin- angle-resolved photoelectron spectroscopy. At Co/Au(111) interface, we observed strong mixing between Au 5d 3d states resulting in spin polarization increase orbital parallel to surface, which causes perpendicular anisotropy films. The structure film low coverage region is different from that bulk hcp it becomes closer those as thickness increases. Reorientation magnetization direction was at about 6 ML, origin qualitatively explained increasing contribution orbitals surface.
