摘要: The purpose of this study was to derive ActiGraph cut-points for sedentary (SED), light-intensity physical activity (LPA), and moderate-to-vigorous (MVPA) in toddlers evaluate their validity an independent sample. predictive established preschool were also evaluated compared. Twenty-two (mean age = 2.1 years ± 0.4 years) wore accelerometer during a videotaped 20-min play period. Videos subsequently coded (PA) intensity using the modified Children's Activity Rating Scale (CARS). Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve analyses conducted determine cut-points. Predictive assessed sample 18 2.3 years). From ROC analyses, 15-s count ranges corresponding SED, LPA, MVPA 0–48, 49–418, >418 counts/15 s, respectively. Classification accuracy fair SED threshold (ROC-AUC 0.74, 95% confidence interval 0.71–0.76) excellent 0.90, 0.88–0.92). In cross-validation sample, toddler cut-point significantly overestimated time spent underestimated LPA. For MVPA, mean differences between observed predicted values Pate not different from zero. summary, can provide useful group-level estimates toddlers. results support use 420 s MVPA.
