摘要: Antisera raised against Trypanosoma evansi and T. congolense were used in a double antibody sandwich enzyme immunosorbent assay (ELISA) to detect trypanosomal antigens sera from experimentally infected rabbits goats. Assays quantitated using reference antigen preparations the homologous antisera showed that could be detected at protein concentrations of 1.5 microgram ml-1. The also cross-reacted with soluble prepared brucei vivax similar concentrations. In circulating first serum four eight days after infection increased levels thereafter. However, seven treatment trypanocidal drug suramin no longer detectable. by Glossina morsitans, 14 infective fly bite had disappeared ten homidium chloride. Trypanosomal goats antiserum evansi. Antigens maximal values observed between 40 post-infection, thereafter declined but remained higher than pre-infection for up 130 days.
