摘要: After the initial discovery of acidic, lipid-soluble, smooth muscle stimulating compounds (prostaglandins) in seminal fluid (Goldblatt, 1933, 1935; Von Euler, 1934, 1935, 1936) there was a long period inactivity study these compounds. This attributable to lack suitable techniques for qualitative and quantitative determination active components. The only means detection were sensitive but relatively unspecific bioassays which did not permit chemical identification.
