摘要: Summary This study aims to analyze whether the interval from hospital admission surgery may be used as a surrogate of actual gap fracture when investigating in-hospital hip mortality. After ana- lyzing 3,754 admissions, we concluded that those intervals might interchangeably without misinterpretation bias. Introduction The debate regarding influence time in (HF) mortality is one most controversial issues HF medical literature. Most previous investigations actually analyzed less easily available surgery. Notwithstanding, assumption equivalency between remains untested. Methods We admissions elderly patients due Quebec, Canada. compared performance predictors delay and using univariate multiple logistic regression analysis. Results mean times were 1.84 1.02 days (P<0.001), respectively. On regression, both slightly significant predictors, yielding similar odds ratios 1.08 (P<0.001) for 1.11 accounting other covariates, neither remained predictors. Conclusion studying
