摘要: Abstract : The variability of wind from 200 to 2000 feet above the surface at White Sands Missile Range was studied. Wind as a function time (3.5, 4.0, 8.0, 10.0, and 11.5 minutes) is presented. Data for study were obtained double-theodolite pilot-balloon observations. absolute mean standard deviation difference in velocity 100-foot intervals indicate magnitude change that can be expected given increment height level. effect this on computed impact point an Aerobee rocket discussed.
