The (E5) changes its fluorescence from green to over time. rate color conversion is independent concentration and therefore can be used trace time-dependent expression. in vivo labeling with E5 measure expression heat shock-dependent promoter Caenorhabditis elegans Otx-2 developing Xenopus embryos.
