摘要: Electroactive polymers (EAPs), a new class of materials, have the potential to be used for applications like biosensors, environmentally sensitive membranes, artificial muscles, actuators, corrosion protection, electronic shielding, visual displays, solar and components in high-energy batteries. The commercialization synthetic EAPs, however, has so far been severely limited. Biological offer degree functionality not available most EAPs. Carbohydrate are produced with great frequency nature. Starch, cellulose, chitin some abundant natural on earth. Biopolymers renewable resource wide range uses nature, functioning as energy storage, transport, signaling, structural components. In general, electroactive materials polysaccharide matrices reach conductance levels comparable ion-conducting This review gives brief history including terminology, describes evaluation methods, reports current progress incorporating polysaccharides doped, blended, grafted materials.
