摘要: Abstract The most important challenge in the post-combustion CO2 capture process is energy consumption. Using intercooled absorption columns increases rate and decreases needed for solvent regeneration. In this study, optimum conditions usage of intercoolers (height duty) have been investigated. First all, accuracy rate-base model was validated to predict industrial unit four different situations. results showed that percentage temperature along height column were predicted precisely with average error 1.38% 3.85%, respectively. second part article dedicated optimization maximize minimize total cooling duty by applying response surface methodology (RSM). statistical analysis heights I II found be 2 5 m, consumption -496 -809.28 kW By intercoolers’ model, obtained at 87.29 −3890 kW, Hence, decreasing using heat duty, constant packing height, increased 3.3%.
