摘要: Changes in blood pressure, pulse rate, and plasma catecholamines, renin activity, cortisol, calcium were studied 16 normotensive subjects (eight with a family history of hypertension) for 5 hours following ingestion alcohol-free alcohol-loaded beer. Both systolic diastolic pressure rose after alcohol consumption; maximum responses occurred at peak concentrations significantly higher than those seen placebo. Pulse rate was also continued to rise throughout the study. There no difference pressor response between groups without hypertension. No found norepinephrine or epinephrine levels placebo phases. However, hypertension had (p less 0.01) did during both phases, although baseline pressures not different. Plasma level similar groups. activity unchanged throughout, but cortisol fell showed small significant fall consumption 0.001). These results indicate that causes is influenced by This effect does appear be sympathetically mediated may due direct vasoconstrictor alcohol, possibly an alcohol-induced shift intracellular calcium.
