摘要: SUMMARY This article examines the exhaust waste heat recovery potential of a microturbine (MT) using an organic Rankine cycle (ORC). Possible improvements in electric and exergy efficiencies as well specific emissions by recovering from MT gases are determined. Different dry working fluids considered during evaluation (R113, R123, R245fa, R236fa). In general, it has been found that use ORC to recover MTs improves combined for all evaluated fluids, obtaining increases average 27% when was operated R113 fluid. It also higher evaporator effectiveness values correspond lower pinch point temperature differences efficiencies. Three different sizes were evaluated, results indicate energetic exergetic performance reduction MT-ORC is better small power outputs than larger MTs. This shows how efficiency can be used ascertain under which circumstances will result cost, primary energy consumption, or emission compared with buying electricity directly utilities.
