摘要: Abstract Industrial metal spinning depends on costly trial-and-error when introducing new products. However, a recently developed flexible setup allows form of process operation similar to raising by hammering: two rollers either side the rotating workpiece apply couple deform it locally whilst moving towards its edge. This paper presents this configuration for first time and develops verifies an upper bound yield-line model design stable tool-paths that avoid wrinkling. Raising is shown be feasible more than conventional spinning, paving way automatic production deep axisymmetric shapes.
