摘要: Plant diversity is an important driver of nitrogen and phosphorus stocks in aboveground plant biomass grassland ecosystems, but effects on other elements also for growth are less understood. We tested whether species richness, functional group richness or the presence/absence particular groups influences Si Ca concentrations (mmol g(-1)) (mmol m(-2)) a large biodiversity experiment (Jena Experiment). In including 60 temperate species, was manipulated as sown (1, 2, 4, 8, 16) identity (1-4; grasses, small herbs, tall legumes). found positive well that were attributable to increased production. The presence most factor explaining variation (mmol m(-2)). Grass by 140 % legume stock 230 %. Both specific altered stocks, whereas concentration affected mostly groups. However, we negative effect accumulation, calculating deviation between mixtures mixture proportions, monoculture concentrations. These changes may turn affect ecosystem processes such litter decomposition nutrient cycling grasslands.
