摘要: The interparticle force due to capillary action of a liquid contact between two solid spheres is shown rigorously have contributions, one the surface tension itself and other pressure difference caused by curvature. Numerical means are used solve for shape evaluate this as function angle, volume liquid, size sphere, tension. rigorous solution then compared often-used circle approximation. We also effect neglecting terms in equation, sometimes done literature. general relations draw several practical conclusions concerning liquid-phase sintering spherical powders.
