摘要: Abstract Cost-effective non-rare earth doped phosphor materials, particularly Mn4+ activated nitrides and fluorides, are emerging as prospective alternatives to rare red-emitting materials for light emitting diodes. Yet, it is challenging prepare such cost-effective high purity phosphors because of their broad emission profiles difficulties in the synthesis fluorides. In order overcome challenges faced developing efficient lighting solutions, we report a new LiMgBO3 synthesized by solution combustion solid-state routes. The had excitation bands UV (200–400 nm) blue (400–560 nm) regions spectrum. Under both UV/visible excitation, emit at 664 669 nm through route respectively corresponding full width half maxima were 94 nm 40 nm. photoluminescence (PL) intensity method, was found be six times higher than that route. effect crystal field environment on PL properties, evaluated from strength Racah parameters (B C), showed ions present strong octahedral methods. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy confirmed existence all elements surface phosphors. Temperature dependent studies photometric properties color purity, International Commission Illumination chromaticity coordinates also evaluated.
