摘要: A set of tungsten oxide/TiO2 polycrystalline samples (W/Ti) prepared by the sol–gel method has been characterised using several techniques, namely thermogravimetric analysis, gas-chromatography, mass spectrometry, analysis combined with spectrometry or gas chromatography/mass X-ray diffraction, photoelectron spectroscopy, determination specific surface area, scanning electron microscopy, Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy and monitorisation pyridine adsorption for acidity. Moreover have empolyed as catalysts 4-nitrophenol photodegradation in aqueous suspensions used a ‘probe’ reaction. Characterisation results indicate that W/Ti particles is enriched homogeneously dispersed well microcrystalline amorphous species. Maximum photoactivity was achieved sample containing 1.7 mol W per 100 Ti.
