摘要: Sporotrichosis is an implantation or inoculation mycosis caused by species of Sporothrix schenckii complex; its main manifestations are limited to skin; however, cutaneous-disseminated, disseminated (visceral) and extracutaneous variants sporotrichosis can be associated with immunosuppression, including HIV-AIDS, chronic alcoholism more virulent strains. The most common form includes pulmonary, osteoarticular meningeal. laboratory diagnosis requires observing yeast forms isolating the fungus; two causative agents (ss) brasiliensis. Antibody levels recognition Polimerase Chain Reaction using biological samples cultures also useful. treatment choice for cases amphotericin B subsequent itraconazole maintenance therapy.
