Predictive coding of speech signals

摘要: Predictive coding of signals, i.e., the reduction or redundancy in a signal by subtracting from it that part which can be predicted its past, is well-known technique for reducing channel capacity required to transmit with specified fidelity. It has been widely applied such as television signals have regularly repeating intervals information, but not satisfactorily speech, exhibit characteristics vary speaker and time one speaker. According this invention, an adaptive predictor employed readjusted periodically match time-varying speech signal.
