摘要: Interorganizational relationships enabled by information systems (IS) are formed under various contingencies. Past research in interorganizational collaborations has benefitted from employing rational choice and institutional theory separately but as organizations face dual pressures to improve performance gain legitimacy their social environments a fuller explanation must encompass both perspectives. This study examines the question of why ICT-enabled form public safety domain perspectives complementary. specifically possibility neighbor effect stimulating establishment interagency policing collaborations, while also attending economic, geographic, demographic factors influencing this decision join-up. When completed, will contribute IS knowledge extending homophily into IS, incorporating an analytical platform which apply findings private sector.
