摘要: Ceratomyxa mennani n. sp. is a new coelozoic species found in the gallbladder of Epinephelus marginatus from Gulf Tunis, Tunisia. Mature plasmodia were disporic, ovoid shape measuring 9–12 μm width and 11–14 μm length. myxospores slightly crescent-shaped with almost straight posterior margin, 5.8 ± 0.2 (5.4–6.1) μm length 12.7 ± 0.3 (11.9–13.0) thickness. The two valves unequal rounded ends. Polar capsules spherical, equal size 2.1 ± 0.2 (1.9–2.6) diameter. binucleated sporoplasm filled entire cavity myxospore. Molecular analysis SSU rDNA sequences indicated that C. was distinct all other GenBank. Phylogenetic revealed clustered infecting Epinephelinae fishes. Seasonal prevalence infection over one year significantly higher winter lowest autumn. This third report Tunisia first study to include molecular data.
