摘要: A number of areas in the National Wilderness Preservation System (NWPS) are located relatively close to large urban centers. This study sought identify if differences exist between visitors an urban-proximate wilderness and those who visit urban-distant wilderness. Results indicated that there were a visitor characteristics, specific attributes trip, responses issues related encounters. These findings have potentially important implications for managers environments environments.
