摘要: A total of 457 Staphylococcus aureus strains from the culture collection National Reference Center for Staphylococci in Bonn, Germany, were screened susceptibility to vancomycin because some are able form subpopulations that show intermediate resistance vancomycin. Two methicillin-resistant (isolated 1993) exhibited resistance. One these, 137-93, which displayed genomic DNA fragment pattern northern German epidemic strain, appeared homogeneously resistant. Neither these had been identified by routine testing. The isolates was lower than Japanese isolate Mu50. To determine whether a similar mechanism confers Mu50 and intracellular cell wall precursor concentration measured not found be comparably increased 137-93. In conclusion, showing have present Germany time (at least since 1993), but with decreased sensitivity overlooked during antibiotic
