摘要: Canada and the countries of Latin America are in midst major changes choices area labor markets related social policy. The decisions taken likely to be significance. Many market outcomes-levels unemployment, wage trends levels inequality, have been unsatisfactory over last couple decades both developed (including Canada) many developing countries, including those America. Nearly everyone is concerned about something, either outcomes or institutions. Some blame institutions for what bad outcomes: important policy reforms being implemented under consideration because belief that a number existing previous counterproductive and/or too expensive from fiscal point view, greater flexibility today’s world fast-changing technology. Others feel proposed will make even worse, thus argue pushing system wrong direction. Hard evidence on which base professional judgments scarce.
