An overview on prospects of new generation single-phase transformerless inverters for grid-connected photovoltaic (PV) systems

摘要: Abstract Research interests on various scientific aspects of photovoltaic (PV) systems has increased over the past decade. However, these are still undergoing further developments, and new designs being demonstrated every year. To minimize cost, reduce size, increase efficiency PV systems, use transformerless grid-connected inverters gained interest residential market. This study describes main challenges in topologies as well provides a review single-phase which categorized into six groups based number switches required system. The basic operational principles schemes under categories presented compared terms leakage current, efficiency, strengths weaknesses. Furthermore, proposed inverter structure compensation strategy for eliminating current have been discussed followed by comparative with available ones. Consequently, our system found noteworthy results PSIM environment reduction those three other different topologies.
