摘要: Repeated infection with Toxoplasma gondii could not induce immunoglobulin E (IgE) antibody production. When mice were injected intraperitoneally twice over a 3-week interval an extract of tachyzoites T. and Al(OH)3 as adjuvant, antitoxoplasma IgE was produced. Antitoxoplasma titers low diminished after short time in B10.S, BALB/c, C3H, C57BL/6 mice. This tendency more evident low-responder SJL IgE-inducing activity antigen weaker than those keyhole limpet hemocyanin, ovalbumin, from Nippostrongylus brasiliensis. The production enhanced by persisted whole-body irradiation (150 R) following secondary immunization. suppressed transferring spleen cells antigen-immunized suppressive effect the specific removed treatment anti-Thy-1.2 complement. These results indicate that induced is result irradiation-sensitive antigen-specific suppressor T cells. findings might explain lack response infection.
