Facility Selection and Haul Optimization Model

摘要: A dynamic optimization model is presented, which enables the selection of combination processing or disposal facilities, both, from among a number alternative that would minimize overall cost haul, disposal, in solid waste management operations over an extended period time. The major input requirements for this are as follows: (1) data on existing and projected population levels densities production selected service areas; (2) empirical relationships yielding operating cost; variable fixed capital candidate methods continuous function daily, monthly, annual loading these facilities; (3) information distance time travel between any two points study area; (4) transport operation.
