摘要: Venom proteins act in the immunological interactions between parasitoids and their host insects. The effect of venom on immunity is not fully understood pupal parasitoids. We identified functions a protein, calreticulin (PvCRT), ectoparasitoid Pachycrepoideus vindemiae. Here, we report that PvCRT features signal peptide two conserved “calreticulin” domains. Multiple sequence alignments show shares 83.54% amino acid identity with CRT from both Pteromalus puparum Nasonia vitripennis, which infers close relationship among these three species. Using qPCR analysis, found lower expression level (0.27-fold) apparatus compared to corresponding carcass. Immunohistochemical localization revealed was ubiquitously expressed gland. gene Drosophila transgenic lines via UAS/Gal4 binary system reduced self-encapsulation phenotype tu(1)Sz1 mutants. Additionally, studies humoral indicate does affect antimicrobial immune responses host. This work an will increase our understanding venom–mediated host-parasitoid interactions.
