摘要: Abstract The aim of the present study was to identify protein that accounts for cholesteryl ester transfer (CETP)-inhibitory activity is specifically associated with human plasma high density lipoproteins (HDL). To this end, HDL apolipoproteins were fractionated by preparative polyacrylamide gradient gel electrophoresis, and 30 distinct fractions molecular masses ranging from 80 down 2 kDa tested their ability inhibit CETP activity.
