摘要: PURPOSEThis phase II study was undertaken to assess the efficacy and toxicity of alternating administration pentostatin (deoxycoformycin [DCF]) interferon alfa-2a (IFN) in patients with advanced or refractory mycosis fungoides (MF) Sezary syndrome (SS).PATIENTS AND METHODSForty-one underwent therapy cycles DCF 4 mg/m2 intravenously (IV) days 1 through 3 IFN 10 million U/m2 intramuscularly (IM) day 22, 50 23 26. Twenty-nine had not responded prior chemotherapy total-skin electron-beam irradiation (TSEB), six topical therapies, no previous treatment.RESULTSTwo achieved a complete response (CR) 15 partial (PR), for an overall rate 41% (95% confidence interval, 26% 58%).
