摘要: Transposable elements (TEs) represent an important fraction of plant genomes and are likely to play a pivotal role in fuelling genome reorganization functional changes following allopolyploidization. Various processes associated with allopolyploidy (i.e. genetic redundancy, bottlenecks during the formation allopolyploids or shock merging) may allow accumulation TE insertions. Our objective carrying out survey literature comparative analysis across different allopolyploid systems is shed light on structural, epigenetic modifications driven by TEs allopolyploidization subsequent diploidization. The available evidence indicates that proliferation short long term after be restricted few TEs, specific polyploid systems. By contrast, data indicate major structural immediately allopolyploidization, mainly through losses sequences as result recombination. Emerging also suggests targeted substantial changes, which impact gene expression stability. Furthermore, directly indirectly support evolution new functionalities All stress drastic reorganization. Mechanisms controlling well their diploidization discussed.
