Economic analyses of breast cancer control in low- and middle-income countries: a systematic review

摘要: To support the development of global strategies against breast cancer, this study reviews available economic evidence on cancer control in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). A systematic article search was conducted through electronic scientific databases, studies were included only if they concerned used original data, originated from LMICs. Independent assessment inclusion criteria yielded 24 that evaluated different kinds screening, diagnostic, therapeutic interventions various age risk groups. Studies synthesized appraised use a checklist, designed for evaluating analyses. The majority these poor quality, particularly examining costs. demonstrated attractiveness screening strategies, novel treatment diagnostic interventions. This review shows base to guide LMICs is limited quality. suggests may be economically attractive – yet there very little provide specific recommendations by mammography versus clinical examination, frequency or target population.
