摘要: We describe calculations of the evolution an ensemble small planetesimals in outer solar system. In a nebula with mass several times minimum nebula, objects radii 100-1000 km can form on timescales 10-100 Myr. Model luminosity functions derived from these agree current observations bodies beyond orbit Neptune (Kuiper Belt objects). New surveys and planned instruments place better constraints dynamics by measuring function at red magnitudes, mR ≥ 28.
