摘要: To better characterize the transplacental transfer and persistence of pertussis antibodies their role in immune response to vaccine, concentrations agglutinins lymphocytosis promoting factor (LPF) filamentous hemagglutinin (FHA) were measured three distinct groups serum. Transplacental IgG antibody newborns found be comparable corresponding maternal decline with a half-life approximately 6 weeks. By age 4 months, most infants had no detectable LPF or FHA. Higher maternally derived associated significantly weaker conventional vaccine. In contrast, acellular vaccine stimulated superior production, regardless antecedent LPF. The data support continuation current schedule immunization further efforts develop an for use young infants.
