摘要: Abstract Natural resource management (NRM) is becoming increasingly important at all scales, local, regional, national and global, because of an increasing human population per capita use resources space. Conflicts are intensifying between different interest groups. Production conservation aspects particularly debated often conflicts with economic social sustainability. There public demand for objective decision based NRM but limitations pervasive due to the spatial temporal complexity interdisciplinary nature. This special issue explores data models overcome some making. The papers in this show modern approaches natural a particular focus on collection, analysis development indicators. presents balanced mix review research that give examples how find or improve information base evidence-based overview makes argument understanding complex pattern processes, indicators, essential aspect NRM. If patterns complex, ecological evidence from field experiments may have limited value observational study designs become more appropriate processes. Data quality should be documented as combination accuracy spatio-temporal representativeness order useful process.
