摘要: Assessing the effect of interventions on quality life in cardiac patients lacks sensitivity because there is no specifically validated scale for measuring depression patients. A questionnaire 35 items (selected face validity) was given to 246 outpatients (age 59.3 +/- 14.1 years, 159 male, 87 female). The Beck Depression Scale then administered, followed by blinded clinical rating depression. item scores were subjected common factor analysis. Internal consistency assessed using alpha reliability coefficients and validity Spearman correlation coefficients. final consisted 26 (alpha coefficient 0.90) 2 robust dimensions 7 subscales. correlated well with Scale, but without marked skewness latter. behavior new Cardiac suggests that it will be an excellent measure studies outcome
