摘要: Objective: The aim of the present work was to measure pain threshold in hypertensive patients with a new auto-algometry method. Design and Setting: Auto-algometry consists asking subjects push their fingers against fixed round-tip needle until they feel sensation. An electronic force transducer permits measurement applied by storage data on personal computer. Eight tests are performed twice each subject tip back four fingers. For test, maximal (grams) is defined as threshold. overall discomfort during entire procedure reported 0 (no discomfort) 10 (intolerable pain) scale. Patients Interventions: A group (n = 22) normotensive underwent examination. Results: higher compared subjects. All scores referred fell within 4–6 range. Conclusion: obtained from this study indicate that auto-algometer described here can detect hypoalgesia associated hypertension.
