摘要: Background: Attention Deficit Disorder with Hyperactivity (ADHD) is the neurobehavioral disorder most often diagnosed in childhood. The estimated prevalence 5% children and 4.4% among adults. Adults are commonly severely affected by this only recently became focus of attention. ADHD even higher patients epilepsy (PWE), approximately 12-77%. Methods: We performed an observational case-control study 95 PWE 100 controls. conducted a semi-structured interview, medical record review applied following scales: Adult Self Report Scale (ASRS 18), Hospital Anxiety Depression (HADS) Adverse Events Profile (AEP). Results: found Symptoms (ADHS) 57.89% 25% controls (p<0.0001). observed depression 33.7% versus 21% (p=0.047), while there was no statistically significant difference anxiety between both groups. However, we presence 70.9% ADHS 27.5% those without (p<0.0001) 43.6% against 20% (p=0.016). In addition, showed differences relation to employability (p=0.026) AEP score Conclusion: This identified high PWE, coexistence psychiatric comorbidities, group, as well social impact treatment epilepsy. Possibly association particularly population may have on compliance.
