摘要: Incremental sheet forming (ISF) has been attractive during the last decades because of its greater flexibility, increased formability and reduced forces. However, traditional finite element simulation used for force prediction is significantly time consuming. This study aims to provide an efficient analytical model tangential prediction. In present work, forces cone-forming process with different wall angles step-down sizes are recorded experimentally. Different trends identified discussed reference deformation mechanisms. An proposed based on energy method zone in a process. The effects modes from shear, bending stretching taken into account separately by two sub-models. final predicted compared experimental results which show average error 6 11 % respect variation size angle explored limits, respectively. would greatly improve efficiency benefit both design
