摘要: Abstract Identification of agricultural practices which maximize crop productivity, energy use efficiency (EUE) and minimize greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions is essential. There dearth information in rainfed agriculture general conservation particular, hence a study was conducted to assess the EUE GHG different tillage like conventional (CT), reduced (RT) zero (ZT) residue levels (harvesting heights resulting 0, 10 30 cm anchored residue) pigeonpea–castor systems under semi-arid regions India. CT recorded 30 31% higher inputs than ZT pigeonpea castor, respectively. The fuel consumption 58 81% lower This by 21 23% respectively, comparison with CT. productivity were maximum 10 cm residue. Further, castor grown on 20% over residues. Our results indicate that, reduction one operation have minimal impact yields but substantial environmental benefits.
