Policing domestic violence: Does officer gender matter?

摘要: This research assessed whether female officers respond to domestic violence differently from male officers. Though many studies had analyzed police responses since the 1980s, very few empirically examined different types of actions, especially noncoercive employed by women and men in handling violence.
