摘要: Abstract New antifungals are increasingly needed due to the emergence of resistant fungal strains. Traditional antifungal assays laborious and require significant amounts samples. The present work presents a new proposal evaluate activity antagonism among species, based on experiments culture co-culture, 1H NMR profile extracts chemometrics. In order develop work, six axenic cultures fungi that infested fruits (Fusarium guttiforme, Pestalotiopsis diospyri, Phoma caricae-papayae, Colletotrichum horii, Phytophthora palmivora, C. gloeosporioides), co-cultures all possible combination them were performed (totalizing 63 experiments). All evaluated by followed Principal Component Analyses (PCA) in determine spectral dissimilarity extracts. Results showed data PCA capable predict both activity. vitro active inactive also prove prediction made PCA. obtained approach is an outstanding tool simultaneously obtain bioactive compounds because: it was able five different collection sixty-three, which would be much more difficult time consuming if applied randomly; most important indicated PCA; hundreds traditional avoid; and, method very money saving.
