摘要: Abstract A 52 kDa protein (p52) was purified from chicken embryos and its corresponding cDNA cloned. The p52 is 1768 bp long has an open reading frame of 465 amino acids. sequence the shows significant homology with mouse human cDNAs EST database, so do deduced acid sequences, indicating existence homologues p52. Northern blot hybridization showed that mRNA expressed in a wide range embryonic adult tissues. There more heart liver than brain or muscle. testis had highest level mRNA, whereas lowest. Expression C3H10T1/2 fibroblasts caused apoptotic cell death, upregulation transcription factor c-Jun activation N-terminal kinase 1 (JNK1). In addition, expression Bcl-2, but not dominant negative mutant JNK1, can block p52-mediated apoptosis. These results indicate may represent new cell-death inducing apoptosis activating JNK1 through different pathways.
