摘要: Abstract Following previous work ( Krempl , 1979), a servocontrolled testing machine and strain measurement at the gage length were used to study uniaxial rate(time)-dependent behavior of AISI Type 304 stainless steel room temperature. The test results show that creep accumulated in given period time depends strongly on stress-rate preceding test. In constant zero-to-tension loading fixed time-period stress level is always higher during than unloading. Continued cycling causes an exhaustion ratchetting which stress-rate. Periods relaxation introduced completely reversed plastic curved portions hysteresis loop exhibit most inelasticity. straight portions, are small there exists region commencing after unloading where similar origin for virgin materials. This does not extend zero stress. variance with theory viscoplasticity theories assume yield surface expands They support based total overstress.
