摘要: The primary regulator of testicular function is gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) that secreted episodically by hypothalamic neurons into the portal vascular system. GnRH stimulates synthesis and secretion luteinizing (LH) follicle-stimulating (FSH), which are produced gonadotrophs anterior pituitary. LH testosterone after binding to specific receptors on Leydig cells, whereas Sertoli cells in seminiferous tubules target FSH (1, 2). Accordingly, mass lesions other disorders suprasellar region or pituitary disrupt LH/FSH production result impaired designated hypogonadotropic hypogonadism because deficiency FSH. These subject this chapter.
