摘要: Abstract Objectives The aim of this study was to retrospectively evaluate, in a series 50 consecutive patients, the feasibility, morbidity, and survival outcome laparoscopic radical hysterectomy for carcinoma uterine cervix. Methods Fifty patients with invasive cervical cancer were operated on by between 1993 2001 at two centers. Patients good general condition less than 4 cm body mass index up 29 eligible. Thirty-one had prior brachytherapy. Results median overall operative time 258 min. mean number harvested pelvic external iliac nodes 13.22 per patient. postoperative hospital stay 7.5 days. Two major urinary complications; one bladder fistula ureteral stenosis. follow-up 44 months. 5-year rate FIGO stage Ia2 Ib1 96%. Conclusions Our results demonstrate that can be performed laparoscopy IB1 or advanced node negative without compromising survival. Prior brachytherapy did not affect feasibility procedure.
